A farewell from ISOBAP founders

All good things must come to an end, and so it is with ISOBAP. The Society has been around over a decade, has seen dozens of members post hundreds of really fine photographs.

But in recent months, there have been fewer and fewer participants, so it seems the interest that maintained ISOBAP is no longer there.

So, with a sincere thanks to all who have participated, and fond farewell to all, we officially say goodbye to ISOBAP, and hope that all who have submitted photos to the monthly contests will continue to shoot and enjoy this wonderful, creative hobby of photography.

Thank you all

I appreciate all the hard work that has gone into running ISOBAP. Being able to join and participate for a while assisted me to become disciplined and get out regularly to take photos with a sense of purpose, while also enjoying seeing others' images from around the globe. Whilst not an active member for a while now, this has mainly been due to me joining my local camera club and embracing its social and creative environment, including becoming its Secretary. If not for ISOBAP, who knows if I would have taken this next step which includes entering club and regional competitions.

Thanks again Don, Bill and Barry; and all the best for the future.

Cheers, Nick

Thank you Don, Bill and webmaster Barry for running a great club. My photography skills have measurably improved over the years because of isobap. My hope is that after Covid is a bad memory there will be renewed interest in taking pictures, and in reviving isobap. Meanwhile, wishing you and all isobap's talented members all the best. --Michele

Thanks for all the hard work, y'all. I couldn't/wouldn't have been able to do it. I wonder how much COVID-19 has hosed things; I know it's dampened my enthusiasm for many things. Blessings for your future efforts. - Martin

Thanks to Don and Bill for taking on this monumental task of getting us organized every month to submit. I, for one, am grateful for your efforts. Cheers, Ted Scott
